About Me

Welcome.

I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for support takes strength, and I’m honored you’re considering this next step.

My hope is that these words give you a sense of what therapy with me feels like: a grounded, supportive space where you’re met with warmth, presence, and deep respect for your story—no matter how painful or complex it may be.

My Approach

I specialize in working with adults who carry the invisible wounds of childhood—those shaped by early trauma, neglect, emotional abandonment, or growing up in homes where love and connection were inconsistent or unavailable. You may have experienced abuse, loss, or caregivers who were physically present but emotionally absent. These early experiences can echo into adulthood in ways that are hard to name—but deeply felt.

As a trauma-informed therapist and EMDR-certified clinician, I help clients process the root of their pain, not just the symptoms. My approach is person-centered, attachment-focused, and integrative—drawing from EMDR, CBT, and parts work (IFS) to support the whole of who you are. Together, we explore the protective parts of you that learned to survive, and we begin to gently reconnect with the parts that long for healing, connection, and self-trust.

There are no bad parts—only parts that adapted in response to pain. And when we bring those parts into awareness and relationship, deep and lasting healing becomes possible.

In our work together, you set the pace. Whether you’re looking to feel safer in your body, form healthier relationships, or simply reconnect with who you really are—I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.

Clients often tell me they feel deeply seen and supported in our work. My goal is to create a space that feels calm, honest, and honoring of your inner world—a space where you can exhale and be fully yourself.

How I see the Healing Journey

Healing begins when we feel truly seen—not just for the pain we carry, but for the strength and hope that still live within us.

I see therapy as a sacred and collaborative space where transformation becomes possible. Together, we’ll gently examine the patterns that have protected you but may no longer serve you. We’ll tend to old wounds with compassion, while cultivating the insight, tools, and resilience needed to move forward with clarity and intention.

You are not broken. You are not a problem to fix. You are a whole, complex, and resilient person—already carrying the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive.

My approach honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I integrate evidence-based modalities with a holistic, trauma-informed lens to support your full self. Through this work, clients often reconnect with their inner wisdom, deepen self-trust, and begin to live with more authenticity, purpose, and ease.

Healing is not linear—and it’s not always easy. But you don’t have to do it alone. I’ll meet you wherever you are, with curiosity, compassion, and steady support.

If you feel ready to take the next step toward healing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.Reach out today for a free consultation.

Education and Training

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from the University of California, Irvine. During my undergraduate years, I developed a deep respect for diversity and inclusivity — fostering a core value of honoring individuals of all abilities, races, ethnicities, religions, national origins, gender identities, and sexual orientations.

After working in both corporate and academic environments — and recognizing the joy I found in supporting others, as well as the profound personal growth I experienced through my own therapy — I chose to pursue a career in counseling.

I went on to earn my Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton. Since then, I’ve gained experience in a range of clinical settings, including residential substance use treatment and outpatient community mental health.

My passion for working with adults from diverse backgrounds who have experienced complex trauma, along with my commitment to ongoing learning, led me to become EMDR-certified through the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). I have also completed additional training in Attachment-Focused EMDR.

As a lifelong learner, I am dedicated to continuously expanding my knowledge and clinical skills through advanced training, workshops, and collaboration with colleagues. This ongoing growth allows me to provide each client with a personalized, thoughtful, and effective therapeutic experience.

Fun Fact

Outside of work, I love spending time with my sweet dog, Murray, and my supportive and fun-loving husband. One of our favorite rituals is taking long walks together in the great outdoors.
