EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a well-researched, evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. During the reprocessing phase of EMDR - bilateral stimulation (usually eye movements, sounds, or tapping) is used to activate the brain’s natural healing process. This allows painful memories to be reprocessed and stored in a way that no longer causes overwhelming emotional or physical distress.
I integrate EMDR into my practice when clinically appropriate, to help clients resolve past wounds that contribute to feeling “stuck" - so they can experience greater clarity, inner peace, emotional connection, and resilience in their present lives.
